Betty is a UK-based mixed-media artist, maker and storyteller who transforms damaged, discarded and obsolete books into intricate miniature paper sculptures.

Originally, trained as a jeweller/silversmith, she now creates whimsical three-dimensional dioramas and tiny architectural worlds that tell playful, poignant stories about the human condition. Her pieces often metaphorically address environmental themes such as coastal erosion and deforestation.
