Teal Serenity is an encaustic wax painting, capturing the essence of a blooming garden. The lush teal, navy and deep green background creates a sense of depth and tranquillity against the scattered soft pink and white flowers. These flowers are textured and layered, reflecting the tactile nature of this ancient form of art. Gold accents add elegance, catching the light. 

The surface is polished to a glossy, translucent finish, characteristic of encaustic wax art. The sides of this piece are completed with the distinctive Japanese ‘shou sugi ban’ charred wood finish. Encaustic art does not need to be framed behind glass.
