Jaci Hogan is a Pastel Artist based in Gloucestershire.  Having grown up in a beach town in Queensland, Australia she has an affinity with the oceans and seas.  In her work she tries to capture the strength and beauty of the water, by using her soft pastels in both wet and dry layers.  The light through the water and the energy of the waves is important to her work. She hopes to stimulate viewers memories of the coast and their experiences with the seas.
