Leaping Tiger

Joe's love of the tiger if clearly translated in this beautiful, limited edition, hot cast bronze sculpture.  As part its initial creation, the tiger was attached to a horizontal base.  However, Joe wasn't satisfied with this as it didn't capture the dynamic power and form of the tiger in its best light.  Therefore, Joe created an exquisitely counterbalanced base for the tiger to leap from.  This simple change transformed the whole piece giving it greater height and presence.  The underside of the base is cleverly, highly polished, reflecting light downwards adding an extra dimension to this wonderfully sculpted artwork - the tiger appears to be leaping from the light!
