Vanessa is a 3D designer, sculptor, and potter who creates both functional and sculptural pieces from clay. She enjoys pushing the clay to its limits and experimenting with new ideas.

Her toasted stoneware ceramics are thrown, textured, and then reformed into functional pots and tableware, using her unique roulettes to create one-of-a-kind patterns. She fires them in her studio, applying glazes that complement the textures.

Vanessa’s current "Shipwreck" collection features a variety of pots, sculptures, and kitchenware. The pots are thrown on the wheel, textured, and then reshaped during the process.

With 29 years of teaching experience in art, textiles, and product design, Vanessa has gained a wealth of knowledge to share with others.

Currently, she runs art, ceramics, and textiles workshops from her home in Bishopswood.
