Elysium

Elysium means a state of bliss. 

"I loved this piece because it was sculpted from initial sketches of my model curled up sleeping. She fell asleep in the pose wrapped up in her own body. A stillness, and introspection, calm and at peace. She is unconcerned with anything else she is contained, safely within her own sphere.  

The colour pallet leans towards that of a water nymph. She is in perfect harmony with her surroundings. I always imagined her with her hair dipped in water! My first half life size figure, so a pivotal piece in my cannon on work."
