We are all in a state of trying to find balance and re-orientate ourselves in this fast changing world and Equilibrium reflects this. This piece can be displayed in numerous ways. In every position it finds a new centre of balance to reveal forms which can be uniquely interpreted as abstract or echoes of natural life.  

In Zimbabwe this type of Springstone is sealed by heating it to a high temperature with a blow torch or oven and then while it is hot it is painted with pure beeswax which gives the shine.
