Cast in iron resin, the sculpture invites reflection on solitude and protection, as though the figure has turned inward, shielded from the relentless forces beyond. The shell - found, moulded, and cast - stands as both boundary and shelter, drawing on the sea’s indifferent power and our instinct to seek stillness amidst the storm.
