Working from her studio in south west Wales, Claire Waters specialises in the design and manufacture of stained and decorative glass. Claire uses a full range of both traditional techniques including leading and painting and more contemporary techniques that include sandblasting, acid etching and acid polishing, fusing, slumping, decorative laminating and glass mosaics to achieve a wide variety of effects to suit the piece she is creating. The stone in Claire’s pieces is Purbeck stone and the wood is also sourced locally.
