The thread vase is a multi axis piece, meaning it rotates through the process many times to get the organic lines – each line/thread of colour is two layers of overlaid colour. Each line has its on melting point which requires careful and skilled control, in addition, a form with clear glass on the base and a small aperture is the hardest shape to make.
