Margaret Johnson obtained her degree in Fine Art and Sculpture at Goldsmith’s College, London University. A great deal of her creative time has been spent painting in watercolours, for which much of her inspiration came from observing her own children as they grew up.

Margaret is now exploring the use of colour, texture and form in translucent glass. She has developed her own unique technique of decorating glass with Japanese silk paper, straw fibre and precious metal foils to create stunning bowls and plates and beautiful decorative glass art forms for interiors.
