Late Summer Soirée

3 new artists, new work from current artists, music and refreshment....an unmissable evening to celebrate art and support your favourite independent gallery.

We can't think of any better way to round off the summer of '24 with an exciting evening at the gallery. We will be introducing 3 new, different and yet immensely talented artists (see below). And not only this, but we will be showcasing new art from our current artists, including David Lloyd Collins, Heather Miller, Nicky Chubb and Maria van-Tintelen.

You will also get the opportunity to meet some of the artists represented at the gallery whilst you sip on some refreshing Pimms, nibble canapés to a background of live music.

We're really looking forward to this evening, an we hope you are too. Make sure to come along for what will be a celebration of art.

Our New Artists

Colin Clark

Colin's visual language emphasises richly textured oil paintings with highly saturated colours. While his work shares some superficial characteristics with Pointillism, he has developed a distinct process that he calls Chromatic Texturism.

Camilla Dowse

Camilla Dowse works mainly in acrylic on gesso panels, her impressionistic urban landscapes explore the beauty of the built environment.

Her work has been selected for exhibition by the New English Art Club, the Bath Art Society, the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition, the Society of Women Artists, the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, the ING Discerning Eye and the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Alison Holt

Alison Holt is a textile artist based in Shropshire with a fine art textiles degree from Goldsmiths College London.

Alisons art reflects her fascination with pattern, light and colour in the natural world, she aims to capture a moment and a memory. She draws directly onto her silk paintings using a basic sewing machine to create richly detailed textured studies of landscapes.
