Margaret Bromberg
Margaret Bromberg has developed a wonderful ability to use hot waxes to create bewitching sailing scenes and captivating depictions of stunning dragonflies. Encaustic painting, as it is known, involves using heated beeswax to which coloured pigments are added. The liquid or paste is then applied to a surface, usually prepared wood, though canvas and other materials are often used and Margaret tends to create her work on complimentary coloured card.
