Working for Clare Craft pottery embedded within Juli a tacit knowledge of clay. Sculpting and hand-building daily, clay became a familiar and reassuring companion. It was also here she met a lifelong friend, Pip Whiteside, whose words, “Go on, you can do it,” have remained with her.
