Six new paintings have arrived at the Gallery from Robin Mullen.
Robin Mullen studied graphic design and has been working as a professional artist for over twenty years.
He was seen as something of a child prodigy in his early years and made his own way making paints from anything, such as crushing chalk to make white powder paint, before opening his first gallery in 1987.
Robin feels that there are too many prints and gimmicks in the artworld which mask the surface and texture of artwork. "I fight to be traditional, just me pouring my thoughts onto canvas using simple materials."
He previously exhibited his work in his own galleries in Guildford, and on the Kings Road in Chelsea as well as at the New York Art Expo. Robin has supplied independent art galleries since 1990 and has exhibited at art fairs across the UK.
